De là son nom de fontaine des Satyres. Une statue dorée représentant Saint-Michel lasurmontait et leau sépandait dans deux larges cuves de pierre.Ladministration communale la fit démolir en 1847. Cest cette même année, le Ier juillet, que les galeries Saint-Hubert furentouvertes au public. La première pierre en avait été posée le 6 mai 1846 par le roi. (1) La Belgique communale, 1847.
